VOICE OF REFUGEES 2016 - UNHCR

Last Saturday, I joined International Events and I took part as Usher for Voice of Refugees 2016 in United Nation (UN) event.

It had been conducted by UNHCR Indonesia and made collaboration with MetroTV.

I was assigned to assist to welcome all guests included several Embassy officers such as Madam Noor Traavik - wife of Norway Ambassador for Indonesia, Australian, and Singaporean Embassy officers and Excellent Diplomatic officer.

VOICE OF REFUGEES 2016 is the program of UNCHR Indonesia. It had been held at Ciputra ArtPreneur Space on 13th Floor of Ciputra World Building.

VOICE OF REFUGEES 2016 is a charity concert to raise several funds to help the refugees around the world.

Thomas Vargas has conducted this event and invite all participant and volunteer to join his event. Thomas Vargas is UNHCR Representative in Indonesia.

Rory Asyari & Nadya Hutagalung has assigened to be Host and Co-Host for this event.

There were several video from UNHCR. They are Jung Woosung as Goodwill Ambassador of UNCHR, Refugees Worldwide, Help Our Childeren and Global Shelter Campaign.

One of great moment when Tahir " the founder of Tahir Foundation" had given his speech at that moment.
Mr. Tahir had rejected the chance to give speech at USA at New York on that night, he just made his existence to join and attend Voice of Refugees 2016 event instead of going to USA.


A lot of public figures had taken part to support this great moment. Raline Shah, Ario Bayu, Joe Taslim had performance for giving some words and Voice for refugees in their poetry. Besides, Gita Gutawa, Cakra Khan, Kafin, The Brothers and Elfa Secioria Children Choir had sung the songs for refugees theme. And also a great lady "Vina Candrawati" had taken part to draw several awesome picture with the sand.

It was awesome.

Tahir Foundation gave donation for USD$ 2 Million through UNHCR to help the refugees. Mr. Tahir said that I never seen people will be broke when they do the social services. Tonight, If  you want to give your funds, BELIEVE ME, IT WAS A PLEASURE FOR YOURSELF"

You guys (all bloggers) can give your donation to UNHCR Indonesia at least to support this project. You can donate for 5 USD at minimum donation, 10 USD, 20 USD , 100 USD, 150 USD until 500 USD .

These collected funds will be useful and shared to fulfill the basic need of refugees for their health, education, and social services.

I am so glad to share this event because we can contribute and change world by using our heart and trying to help others whenever we can, learn from other experience, and doing the good thing

is it D.A.T.E ?

I think it was A date.

When somebody wanted you, they would do anything to  make you out  with them.
I did not know why he came back again to my life as if he played with my heart, wanted me as his part of his life. He wanted all information about me, Where was I, what did I do, Where did I work. Wanted me so a lot. I even did not know why he did that all those Things together with me. Did the silly Things together with me. He wanted me to know him more. Liking him as His lovely doll.

Is that love ? Did he miss me so badly. By doing all those things together with me.

I don't know.

Mudik Lebaran - Moment

Moment Lebaran merupakan moment yang paling berharga.
Tradisi mudik, kerap kali dijadikan bahan obrolan, baik di media cetak ataupun media online.

Mudik alias perjalanan atau pun traveling to your hometown is the sweetest moment you love .

Gara-gara tradisi mudik ini menyebabkan Jakarta tidak macet saudara-saudara.
Tradisi setahun sekali atau dua kali setahun ini merupakan cara ampuh mengurangi kemacetan di ibukota. Ini benar-benar efektif, tanpa ada paksaan. Orang-orang berbondong-bondong mengunjungi kampung halaman atau rumah masa kecil tecinta.

Siapa yang tak ingin bertemu ayah dan ibu yang dirindukan. Anak-anak yang terpisah jauh dari orang tua, menantikan moment bahagia ini.
Bukan hanya mudik, kue lebaran dan berkumpul bersama merupakan moment yang diidam-idamkan di hari nan fitri.

Mungkin ada teman-teman blogger yang tidak mudik tapi bepergian ke luar daerah lain atau luar negri .


Selama libur lebaran kemarin saya juga ikut meramaikan tradisi mudik. Mudik pulkam (pulang kampung) ke rumah di Lampung. Saya jarang sekali pulang ke rumah, moment yang sangat berkesan karena tahun ini adik pertama saya akan segera menikah.

Tahun depan akan bertambah lagi keluarga di rumah, orang tua pun tahun ini semoga lancar menjalankan ibadah haji.Karena tahun kemarin sempat tertunda, akhirnya tiba giliran tahun ini. Semoga bisa segera menyusul.

Moment lebaran mudik kali ini banyak sekali yang bisa digunakan. Bisa lewat jalur laut . Pertama via merak seperti biasa perjalanan memakan waktu 8 jam untuk sampai ke rumah (3jam di kapal) melewati Selat Sunda. Jalur kedua via tanjung priok. Ternyata, pemerintah pusat membuka untuk mudik ke lampung via tanjung priok selamat 8 jam perjalanan di laut melewati Laut Jawa.

Selain itu, ada altenatif penerbangan ke Lampung bisa dengan maskapai yang tersedia di bandara Soetta dan naik damri paling aman si.
Kalau naik damri bisa ditempuh selama 8jam perjalanan darat - laut melewati Selat Sunda.

Semoga lebaran fitri tahun depan semakin menyenangkan.
